Apple Offers Free Training Sessions at EMX

At EMX, Apple Computer is offering a series of 45-minute hands-on training classes covering DVD Studio Pro 3, Final Cut Pro HD and Motion. Registration for these classes will begin at 8:30 am in the Laurel Meeting Room on Tuesday, August 31st.

Here’s the schedule:
8:30 –9:15 AM: Registration
9:15–10:00 AM: Introduction to DVD Studio Pro 3
10:15–11:00 AM: Tips and Tricks using DVD Studio Pro 3
11:15–12:00 PM: Introduction to Final Cut Pro HD
12:00–1:15 PM: Lunch
1:15–2:00 PM: Advanced Tips and Techniques in Final Cut Pro HD
2:15–3:00 PM: Introducing Motion
3:15–4:00 PM: Introducing DVD Studio Pro 3
4:15–5:00 PM: Introducing Motion

On Wednesday, September 1st, Bruce Nazarian, President of Gnome Digital Media and founder of Recipe4dvd.com, will show how to harness the power of DVD Studio Pro to produce professional DVDs.

DTS and Optibase will also be on hand to show new high-end encoding options for Mac OS X and DVD Studio Pro. Come see demonstrations of the new DTS pro-audio software encoders and the Optibase MPEG MovieMaker 200s hardware encoder.
