The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced their nominations for the 2003 Emmy Awards, including those for sound, which include eight programs mixed and broadcast in Dolby Digital 5.1 audio.
Eight programs in Dolby Digital 5.1 were nominated for sound-related Emmys last year, as well.
The 55th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will be broadcast internationally from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles this September. The sound category nominees who have produced their program in Dolby Digital 5.1 audio are:
