CMP Entertainment Media, producer of Surround Professional, Pro Sound News, and the annual Surround Conference, has announced that Surround for Broadcast 2006 will take place at the Alexis Park Hotel on April 23, 2006. Surround sound pioneer Dolby, Inc. has again joined the conference as a premiere sponsor.
As it has for the past two years, the Surround Broadcast conference will provide real-world advice and techniques on capturing, mixing, and transmitting 5.1-channel audio. Moderators and speakers will include some of the biggest names in broadcast audio and surround technology.

In addition to the seminars comprehensive panel discussions, attendees will also have the opportunity to experience the latest broadcast surround tools and to network with their peers in an amicable environment.
