DV Studio Adds Five New Distributors
DV Studio Technologies, LLC announced the addition of five new distributors for its MPEG-2 and DVD authoring products. With coverage in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Taiwan, the company is well on its way to fulfilling its goal to achieve total market penetration worldwide.

“A few months ago, we signed Accelerated Comutech International in China as our first major distribution partner, and we are very pleased to add the five new ones,” says Dr. Ash Pahwa, DV Studio’s chief executive officer. “All of these companies have made a significant commitment towards our product line. We are also very impressed with their promotional efforts.”

In Europe, Digivision in Milan, Italy has taken the lead in representing DV Studio in this important market. Digivision specializes in servicing the high-end video market (www.digivision.it).

Proh Personal Computers (www.proh.com), located in Northern California, has many years of in-depth video experience and offers quality support for the DV Studio product line. Two distributors will serve the Canadian market. BernClare Multimedia in Markham, Ontario (www.BernClare.com), which focuses on consumer-oriented products, and IC Technology (www.ictechnology.ca) in Toronto, which specializes in customized solutions for the animation and digital video professional markets.

LEADWave Technology (www.leadwave.com.tw) in Taipei, Taiwan emphasizes high-quality MPEG-2 encoding products. “While Taiwan is a comparatively small market, it is an important technology center and a leader in product innovation,” adds Pahwa.

JoAnn Motz, DV Studio’s vice president of sales says, “The addition of these distributors is an important first step in widening our global distribution network. These are all quality firms, and we are very proud to be associated with each of them.”
