Accessible Sound Adds New Surround Capability With Genelec Monitors
Accessible Sound turned 20 years old in 1999, and the highly-respected Houston music, post production, and sound design facility capped the year with the installation of a new surrounds monitoring system comprised of Genelec powered monitors.

Three Genelec 1037B monitors make up the L-C-R array in the front of the main control room, while a pair of Genelec 1031A monitors for surrounds are mounted on Genelec-designed swivels.

“We’ve always been known as Houston’s premiere one-stop shop for all types of audio services,” says Ken Bujnoch, Accessible Sound’s president. “Over the years, we’ve evolved into a true audio multimedia facility, doing many types of audio projects.” These include music recording for regional artists; original music and sound design for major commercial spots; and unique projects, such as a synchronized project for the world’s largest fireworks, laser, and light show recently held in Houston.
