American Technology Corp. and SANYO Link For Stratified Field Technology
American Technology Corp. has signed an agreement with SANYO Technosound Co., Ltd. of Japan. Under the Agreement, SANYO and ATC will negotiate terms and conditions of Sanyo’s licensing ATC’s Stratified Field Technology. If licensed, this thin panel, loudspeaker technology is expected to be used in a number of new products being developed by Sanyo Technosound as well as being incorporated into some of their existing products.
“As a new product division of SANYO Electric Co., Ltd., SANYO Technosound is always looking for new and innovative technologies which can differentiate our products,” said Takao Suzuki, general manager of New Business Development for SANYO Technosound. “SFT Technology provides us an opportunity to develop new products using a high quality, thin panel speaker technology which can be shaped into new and unique products. Since SFT can also be totally flat, we also look forward to investigating opportunities to integrate it into some of our existing product line.”
