Carmike Cinemas Announces the Grand Re-Opening Of Mandarin Cinemas 6
Carmike Cinemas, Inc. has announced the re-opening of the Mandarin Cinemas 6 theatre on March 19, 1999, with the mature, sophisticated consumer in mind. The newly renovated multiplex, located at 10991 San Jose Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida, will appeal to those adults who are demanding quality motion picture entertainment in a movie environment that offers opulence, sophistication and is free of other distractions found at many theatres today.
“Carmike is responding to the overwhelming needs of the mature adult audience who want to enjoy the magic of Hollywood without the distractions of younger individuals using theatres as a ‘hang-out’,” states Michael W. Patrick, President and Chief Executive Officer of Carmike. “We are very proud of the new all stadium seating Mandarin Cinemas 6, which reflects the magic of the old movie palaces through its stately decor and trend-setting amenities. In addition to popular concessions, the Mandarin Cinemas 6 offers new refreshments including exclusive chocolates and a Cappuccino & Coffee Bar, as well as each auditorium featuring digital stereo surround sound, stadium seating, custom luxury seats and cup holder armrests. We truly want our patrons to feel like personal guests of the Mandarin Cinemas.”
